I was trying to release my game on IOS but an issue occur where the game freeze on unity splash screen! (I’m using personal free version)
I have submitted first version 3 weeks ago and the game wasn’t freezing on unity splash screen but it was rejected due to using ipv4 only for the communication. However, after solving this issue and rebuild the game, an error occur on Xcode about ARM64 and ARMv7 where I was using Universal architecture. I was using unity 2019.4.5f1 and Xcode 11.7. I didn’t change any major thing on the code or UI, just adding ipv6 request.
I updated Xcode to 12.0.1 and still having the same error, then updated unity to 2019.4.11f1 (hopping the issue will be solved but it didn’t). After that I built targeting ARM64 only which worked fine. From this point Apple rejected my app due to unity splash screen that kept freezing while they test the game! I searched a lot about a solution online and tried some possible solutions but nothing worked for me.
Then, I reinstall Xcode back to 11.7 and submitted the game again but the game been rejected due to unity splash screen freezing! The main issue is that I tried to reproduce the issue on many devises but it never occur for me (even once) I tried it on many iphone devices :/
Unity splash freeze only when apple team testing the game before they release it! That’s why I couldn’t add more information about this issue, they always reply that there is a bug where the game is freezing on unity splash screen and an image attached.
I would appreciate any advice and help on this issue. I attached images for the setting I’m using on unity (first scene is only UI).
