On building ios xcode project through unity, value for product bundle identifier is not set in the build settings tab in xcode.
This is causing the error 'Add App Groups to your App ID' inspite of adding the app-group to the correct app ID on enabling App Groups.
Please let me know if I could fix this somehow?

Unity 2018.2.21 iOS Build Stuck in xCode
I have a project that has to remain in Unity 2018.2.21 because one of the plugins doesn't work with anything later yet.
It was building fine not long about, but now when I build in Xcode it gets stuck when it is almost done. I have a new MacBook Pro and the fan is going full speed the whole time.
I have tried a clean build and also in Unity replacing the whole build. Nothing seems to help.
I have the latest Xcode and also several other versions of Unity using Unity Hub including 2019 Unity.
How can I figure out why it is getting stuck?

Why isn't Xcode running/calibrating unity accelerometer script?
Hello, I've been looking for solutions everywhere but it seems like my IOS build is failing to run certain code in the script. I'm trying to detect an iOS device start position to match with the gameobject acceleration. These codes work in unity remote but not when testing on an iPhone I don't know why. I don't want the phone to have to be completely laid flat to be able to use the accelerometer correctly. I have 2 scripts that does the job but only need 1 attached on the gameobject.

Black screen on iphone
Hi all,
I use Unity 2018.3.14f1 but i tried other versions. I use Xcode 10.2.1 . My game plays perfectly on unity and i build it on unity without error. Then i build on Xcode without error and run it on my iphone 6 (ios12.2 ) but it shows just a black screen. My Camera>Clear Flags is Skybox and its color is blue on Unity. How can i fix this.

Cocoapods still installs files after removing package
I added the Google Mobile Ads Mediation Test Suite package to my project so I could test my mediation setup.
After finishing testing I deleted the package from my project.
Now when I make an iOS build, cocoapods still does something which installs files for the Google Mobile Ads Mediation Test Suite to my build.
You can see in Build Phases in Xcode a bundle for GoogleMobileAdsMediationTestSuite exists.

How can I stop this from happening so that I don't have to manually delete these files every time I make an iOS build?

Using multiple xcode versions from Unity
Hey,
So far I figured I can use xcode-select from the console to manually select the preferred version of Xcode to use, however I find it not very practical and very prone to human error (first world problems I know).
Is there another way to do it? Unity prompting what version to use? Unity Hub-ish approach?

How to fix clang error: symbol(s) not found for architecture arm64
Hi,
I been trying to build an app through Xcode and I keep getting this error: symbol(s) not found for architecture arm64. I just built another app with the same setup using unity 2018.3.2.f1 and I did not get this issue. I have Unity IAP and Admob plugins within this build. Can some one please point me in the right direction on how to fix this clang error issue? Compiling in Xcode fails
My first question on this forum and I hope someone can help.

I have used Unity 2018.3.12f1 (64-bit) and created some apps for iPhone (using XCode) without any problems. When the new update (Unity 2019.1 with the hub) was released I waited 5 months before updating but last week I updated. I have installed and am now running Unity 2019.1.4f1 (64-bit). The apps are working fine in Unity. The build process from Unity to iOS runs also without errors. I use option "Run in Xcode as - Release" and "Compression Method - Default".

But when I compile with Xcode (version 10.2.1) on my Mac I get a build failed. The error message is "Library not found for -libPhone-lib". This is really frustrating. I tried to find the solution online but no success. Please can someone give me tips, hints or even better a solution.

Xcode error when archiving - Undefined symbols
Hi everyone,
Having issues when archiving in Xcode 10.2.1. My project was updated to use Unity 2018.3.8f1 with Unity Monetization 3.1.0 (had issues with UnityAds and Xcode previously).
The error specifically mentions *ld: symbol(s) not found for architecture armv7

Xcode 10.2.1 hangs when building unity 2019.1.2 project
I'm attempting to do an iOS build for the first time and have been able to export from unity without any errors.
When I "Run" project in Xcode it starts but then hangs. I've noticed thousands of warnings "Code will never be executed" with GenericMethods.cpp but no exceptions.
GenericMethods seems to be part of the Native code base so I'm not sure what to do or if so many warnings can cause the freeze.
Im setup as a developer in Xcode and am using "automatic signing" with the Team option selected. I don't think this is a profile issue since it would probably throw an error.
I've tried other suggestions of removing ProceduralToolkit (which is not in this unity version) as well as using command line Xcode to build.
Archiving the project hangs at 600 of 616.

UnityWebRequest.downloadProgress error on xiaomi devices
Hello Mighty Developers,
Have a problem that i'm struggling for almost a week, default android devices have no problem on downloading assets from server but once i run the app on xiaomi devices i get an error:

Unity 2019 iOS build problem
Hi!Recently we started to upgrade our game from Unity 2017.2.1f1 to Unity 2019(Now we are using Unity 2019.1.8).We finally overcame the Android errors, but there are problems on iOS devices too.After building the game in Unity,we open it on XCode, and run it on our iOS device.While running on the device the XCode log seems normal(the game opens and initializes the services, etc), but the iOS device has black screen from the beggining.Any ideas on this?

Hey, I've been stuck for weeks with an error that I get when I try to run my app with xcode.
**Error: "Unity-iPhone" requires a provisioning profile with the Game Center feature. Select a provisioning profile for the "ReleaseForRunning" build configuration in the project editor. (in target 'Unity-iPhone')**

Xcode project build automation setting up app group
I have recently updated xcodeAPI from the older version provided by one signal to the latest version provided by unity on bitbucket.
This new version added support for Capabilities (setting push notification, In app Purchase, etc... programatically).
I am now running into problems getting App Group setup programatically, something that was working just fine in the older version of xcodeAPI.
In my PostProcessBuild function, amongst setting up all the other PBXProject option I do:
ProjectCapabilityManager projectManager = new ProjectCapabilityManager(projectPath, entitlementsPath, targetGuid);
PBXProject.AddCapability(targetGuid, PBXCapabilityType.AppGroups)
projectManager.AddAppGroups(new string[] {"group.my_company.onesignal"});
it used to work on the one signal postprocessbuild with this code:
if (entitlements.root["com.apple.security.application-groups"] == null)
{
var groups = entitlements.root.CreateArray("com.apple.security.application-groups");
groups.AddString("group." + PlayerSettings.applicationIdentifier + ".onesignal");
}
That is not working, I am not sure what I am missing. I am assuming that the new xcodeAPI works differently, but there is very little example on how to use it.
